Where you can grow at your own pace.

Cultivating resilience, fostering growth, and nurturing self-compassion because YOU deserve a fulfilled life.

Hello there! I’m Darbi. I offer virtual therapy to adults and teens across Missouri, including Kansas City and surrounding areas. I believe in relational, real life therapy.

I'm so glad you found your way here, whether you are here for yourself or seeking supports for someone you care about. I just want to take a moment to acknowledge how incredibly brave and courageous it is to reach out for help. Trust me, I know it's not always easy to take that first step (or easy to believe you are worthy of taking up that space, am I right?), but here you are, showing up for yourself and prioritizing your well-being. That's something truly remarkable.

I want you to know that you're not alone on this journey. I'm here to provide a listening ear, a safe space, and practical guidance as we navigate the ups and downs of life together. We all go through challenges, and it's okay to need a little extra support along the way.

I currently offer virtual services to clients all across Missouri. I offer individual therapy, couples therapy, and autism and ADHD assessments for adults in Kansas City and surrounding areas.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), EMDR-Certified Therapist, and Certified Therapeutic Game Master (TA-TTRPG) — trained to bring the healing power of story and play into real clinical work.

Are you seeking a safe space to explore your emotions and find inner peace?

At Walking with Wildflowers, my approach is all about you.
Your story, your dreams, and your unique experiences shape the heart of our work together. No judgment, just genuine understanding and compassion. We'll explore the depths of your emotions, discover your inner strengths, and find ways to bring more joy and fulfillment into your life.

I also want you to know that it's okay to take things at your own pace. Healing and growth look different for everyone, and I'm here to support you wherever you are on your journey. Whether you’ve had years of experience in therapy or are brand new to the world of healing, I’m so thankful you’re here!

This space might be for you if…

You've spent years masking, performing "okay," and wondering why things that seem easy for everyone else take so much more out of you. Maybe you're autistic, ADHD, or just starting to suspect you might be. Maybe you're navigating a chronic illness and are exhausted by having to justify your limits to people who don't understand. Maybe you're trying to break generational cycles — parenting differently than you were parented, or learning to rest instead of pushing through the way you were taught to. Maybe you're a teen who'd rather roll dice than fill out a feelings worksheet, or an adult finally ready to stop guessing and start understanding yourself. If you're looking for a therapist who won't flinch at your special interests, your stim toys, your flare-up days, or your need to pace while you talk — you're exactly who I built this practice for

Neuroaffirming Autism & ADHD Assessments

Virtual Autism & ADHD Assessments for Adults Anywhere in Missouri

Maybe you've spent years wondering why things that seem easy for everyone else take so much more out of you. Maybe someone in your life gently suggested you might be autistic, or ADHD, or both — and it's been sitting in the back of your mind ever since.

My assessments are built for adults who are ready to stop guessing and start understanding themselves — without the years-long waitlists or the clinical coldness that so often comes with traditional evaluation processes. Using comprehensive, evidence-based tools like the MIGDAS-2 and ADHDT-2, as well as masking screeners, I offer a personalized, affirming evaluation experience led by a therapist who is neurodivergent herself.

  • Comprehensive, standardized assessment tools tailored to how autism and ADHD actually show up in adults — including those who mask well

  • Verbal feedback session to walk through your results together, not just a report dropped in your inbox

  • Tiered packages so you can choose the depth of support that fits your needs and budget

  • Private pay, virtual, Missouri-wide — flexible payment plans available

  • Optional follow-up consultations if you have more questions after your results

This isn't about fitting you into a box. It's about giving you language and clarity for what you've likely already known about yourself for a long time.

Therapeutic D&D

Where healing takes the shape of adventure — building real-world skills through story, connection, and play

Therapeutic D&D: Where Story Becomes Skill-Building

Therapeutic D&D uses collaborative storytelling as a container for real, meaningful growth. Through character creation, shared adventure, and problem-solving, teens build skills like emotional regulation, communication, and connection — all while doing something that genuinely feels fun instead of clinical.

I currently offer therapeutic D&D groups for teens, run in a small-party format designed to feel safe and welcoming. No prior D&D experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to roll the dice.

Like wildflowers, you can allow yourself to grow in all of the places you never thought you would.

Serving Missouri residents across the state.
